On Remembrance Sunday we laid a wreath on the RAF Gransden Lodge airfield memorial by the windmill in Great Gransden. The inscription reads: Recognising the sacrifice of the 447 members of the Royal Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force who lost their lives in operations from RAF Gransden Lodge 1942-1945 fighting for our freedom.
