Pip Schoobert, the overall organiser of the Little Gransden Airshow, could not have been more helpful in helping CGC return to the show – from giving us the absolute prime spot to ensuring that between both the official airside handlers and CGC we were able to display PZ and our new gazebo and feather flags to advantage.
The CGC “crew” were kept busy all day with numerous visitors – some of whom expressed interest in becoming members. This is all part of the Recruitment and Retention Committee’s drive to increase our overall number of Full Flying Members and already appears to be becoming successful as membership has gone up from 111 to 120 already.
We will have a smaller stand, but with the BGA portable VR simulator, at the Great Gransden Agricultural Show on Sat Sept 28 September followed by another large one at the final Duxford Airshow of the year on Saturday October 5th.
What a great way to get the attention of potential new members!
