In response to members’ requests we will be setting aside an area for members and their families to camp on-site this summer. The area will be at the northern end of the west trailer park adjacent to the club house. To make room the empty club trailers that are normally parked here will be moved to the car park at the 04/09 intersection.
The camping area will be available from April 1st until September 30th. As shown on the map, tents should only be pitched in the area between parked trailers. This will enable gliders to be rigged without interference to or from the camping area. Please do not block access to the caravans parked along the hedge at the northern end. There will also be an area adjacent to the road which will be roped off to provide additional car parking. The showers and washrooms are conveniently nearby.
Members wishing to camp should contact the office to arrange payment. Campers are responsible for keeping the area around their tents in a clean and tidy condition. All rubbish should be removed and disposed of in the bins provided or taken off site.
