This page goes into more detail about how to access our various facilities to do things like book a flying session, read your membership documents, see your flying records and account, etc.
Aerolog
You have been granted access to Aerolog Cloud as a member of Cambridge Gliding Centre, which allows you to:
- View your flying account statement for any period and export it as PDF or Excel.
- View your flight log records for any period and export it as as PDF or Excel.
- View your flight statistics
- View your personal details as held by the club.
- Input request for changes to your personal details.
- Upload your digitized documents and certificates.
- View the GDPR Consent Form.
- View the Terms & Conditions
To access the system, please follow this link. Your User-ID is your email address registered at the club (if under 18 it will be that of your primary parent / guardian).
On your first access, click the link for password definition in the login screen and follow the instructions.
Payments
Members are requested to maintain a credit balance on their flying accounts at all times. Payments can be sent to our bank account held with Lloyds Bank in Cambridge, sort code 30 91 56, account number 00067732. For allocation purposes, please quote your membership number (supplied to you in the first email from the club after joining) in the reference.
Members’ website
You should now also be able to gain access to the members’ areas of the club website from where you can book training with our instructors in our two seater gliders. The day is divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with members, subject to availability, being able to book either half or a full day of training (please note the booking terms and conditions).
To make your bookings for training and to access the members area of the club website, you require a combination of the following:
Login ID: Fred BLOGGS and default password is your post code
(That is, your first name followed by your family name IN CAPITALS, then your post code including the space).
Membership number (this was supplied to you in the very first email from the club when you joined)
Gliding App
We use Gliding App to
- Manage and record all flights made at the airfield
- To keep your training records and qualifications
- To register who is doing what on the airfield
Gliding App – how to install and use it – is described in the “Training, and Training Resources” page. You’ll be prompted to look at this soon, but there’s no need to do so now.
Access gate
The club has an electric gate which is open during our flying hours.
Should you find it closed you can open it by calling a mobile phone number from the phone number you have registered with the club.
What you need to do:
- Store this UK phone number in your phone contacts: 07483 527868
- When approaching the gate to enter or leave, simply call this number from your phone. You will hear a voicemail message. End the call.
- The warning light on the gate will flash and the gate will slide open.
- Drive through. The gate will automatically close behind you.
